The news coming out of South Africa is
depressing. Gangs of youths have been
attacking and killing foreigners, ransacking
their homes, and burning down businesses.
Over the past two weeks, at least four
people have died. More than 1,000
immigrants have fled their homes in the
port city of Durban alone.
Similar xenophobic attacks have occurred
in Soweto.
