AN ASTONISHING video some claim shows the spirit of Jesus walking on water is going viral online.
Images show the mysterious form appearing either above or rising from the water of part of the huge lake in Michigan, USA.
Some viewers have suggested it is an apparition of Jesus walking on water, while others claim it could be a "ghost ship" or even a "UFO rising from an underwater base”.
A promotional blurb for the video uploaded by Jason Asselin said: "Saturday evening far off coast from Marquette, Michigan, appeared this mysterious ship that had to be gigantic!
"Almost as if a ghost ship was showing itself to the world.. Even if it were a ship, what could be that tall in these choppy waves?"
The filmmaker caught the images while touring the area with country singer Kevin B Klein to make a new video.

Fata Morgana can be seen on land or sea and is a mirage that involves the optical distortion and inversion of distant objects such as boats or buildings.
The optical illusion produced can be as impressive as skyscrapers or boats in the sky because the images become stacked, when rays of light bend as they pass through air of different temperatures such as in a heat haze.
